Maria Amaral introduced the concept of climate-controlled wine cellars for yacht in Brazil, showcased prominently at the São Paulo Boat Show, the largest nautical event in Latin America, in September 2022.
With a strategic approach, she has been dedicated to boosting the market for Brazilian Fine Wines both nationally and internationally, connecting investors, industry professionals, and international companies to this growing sector.
Her mission is clear: to unveil the potential of Brazilian terroirs to the world, promoting local wineries through market intelligence and expert curation.
Her professional journey began in Leasing at Banco Finasa, followed by roles in Advertising and Graphic Design within major corporate firms. After completing her Executive MBA in Management (2020), she embarked on a new chapter—combining her business expertise with a deep passion for the world of wine.
Maria holds a Level 2 wine certification from the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and completed the Food Writing in Publications Essentials course at Le Cordon Bleu. She also earned the international seal from the Comité Champagne (2023), as well as the LVMH certificate (June 2024) and the ANCORD certification as an Investment Advisor (July 2024) - expanding her presence in the worlds of luxury and specialised investments.
